it’s been way too long! the first of two new re:buildings for a show at chhaya cafe in philadelphia.

march 12, 7-9 pm

cover for Maruta’s new album Forward Into Regression. this was another project that was fun from start to finish. crumbling old buildings and skulls in the sky? what’s not to love.

i’ve always loved this guy’s work and now it’s seeming more and more relevant to what i do. Charles Demuth; look him up!

whew, time for a break! this is the 50th (or so)  piece made just for re:building and while there will definitely still be updates and reblogs, i’m going to take a break from the twice a week schedule i’ve been keeping for the last 6 months or so. the good news is i’ll be using this time to design and print a re:building book!
thanks for watching, everyone. there are even bigger things to come.

i’m not sure if this is supposed to be a building or just a junk pile but i love it. i wish i knew the artist who made this. i have a feeling i’d be into their work.
