i don’t have much to say about this except that i’m jealous that i didn’t make it myself.  ratak-monodosico: 1935 photograph of a rock-carved wine press in Cappadocia, Turkey taken by John Whiting and Eric Matson for the National Geographic.  There are 264 photos from their trip at the Library of Congress in two volumes.  This photo is from the first volume.
